Current skills and experience

·         I have had experiences with my previous schools, theatre companies and performances such as the Shakespeare schools festival at the Unicorn theatre and two previous auditions for RSC.
·         I have a strong work ethic in rehersals and like to work with a variety of people.
·         Having had 8 years of voice coaching at a theatre school, i feel like i have confidence in my voice and how to project it etc.
·         I really enjoy devising and beleive that over the last year or so, writing my own plays and monolugues, it has really helped me understand and develop my own characters, which helps me immensley in rehersals.
·         My favourite type of acting is contempary, modern and quite emotional. I dont really know what i am like with things like comedy and feel i’d find it quite hard, but i would love to challenge myself to do more things and step out of my comfort zone a bit more.

Areas to improve

·         I think i could improve on accents and using my voice in different ways for different characters.

·         I think i need to become more familiar with types of acting such as comedy etc.

·         I think also reading scripts and learning them, would be something i would like to improve on.

·         I also think that physicality is important, different postures and physicalities for different characters would be good to learn.

Current skills and experience

·         I have been writing my own scripts and monologues for quite a while and love writing anyway.

·         Within the BTEC Course at Brit we have had to learn about set design and set making.

·         For previous school plays I have always helped behind stage as well and also my dad runs a production company and so he has always taught me about lighting and sound.

·         For my work experience I worked with a voice over company, so I learnt about sound more there.

·         I have only had proper directing experience in class and think that I am quite good at coming up with ideas and working with people.

Skills to develop

·         I don’t have any experience at all with digital IT supports, so need to work on that.

·         I have previously learnt about stage make up but would like to develop my knowledge on it.

·         I would like to learn more about marketing in theatre, as it is an area that I am quite interested in.

Other skills in the workplace
·                     Communication
·                     Organisation
·                     Team work

Current skills and examples

·         I believe I am quite good at communicating, I always portray my ideas to people just to see what they think, but always listen to other peoples, because I think that together, if you mix up some ideas, you end up with an even better one.

·         I think I am good at working in teams, as I like to work with a variety of people, and not just people that I get on with. I like to see everybody’s skills and working with people you don’t usually work with is really nice. Also working in a team, you get more ideas and contribution in a team and hopefully a better result.

Areas to improve

·         I would like to be more organised than I already am. I’m not bad, but I think I’m quite forgetful and probably forget most things that I am told to do or bring along. I could definitely improve on that.
